Peanut butter and chocolate are a match made in food heaven. I can never resist that sweet and salty flavor, so it only made sense to combine these two spreads into one deliciously fudgey bite.
These rich bars are a mix of extra crunchy peanut butter and dark chocolate chips. You can use smooth peanut butter instead, but I love that extra texture and crunch! Top it all off with the oh-so-delicious Nutella spread for the ultimate treat.
As tempting as it may be, try your best to wait for the bars to cool completely before diving in. This will give time for the bars to set and avoid a crumbly mess. Once you’ve eaten your fill, I suggest storing the rest in the refrigerator. Before serving, you can either let them get back to room temperature or if you’re like me, just eat them cold. It sounds weird, as most of us associate chocolate with warm temperatures, but the cold allows them to become even more fudge-like and the flavors are intensified. Enjoy!
