Restaurant Review: The Meatball Shop

If there’s one thing every NYC visiter should do while in town, it’s enjoy some balls at The Meatball Shop. While playing tourist for the day, I took my parents exploring the Smorgasburg Flea Market and afterwards stopped for a late lunch at the Williamsburg location.  With a completely customizable menu and new specials each day really anything goes; any and all combinations are welcome and always nothing short of delicious. As if  a menu full of meatballs wasn’t enough, they offer the most incredible ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Keeping in theme with their mix and match menu, you are able to pick your favorite cookie and ice cream which makes for a tasty treat.

My order: Spicy Pork Naked Balls over mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy and family jewels (fried egg)

Mom’s order: Classic Beef Naked Balls over the daily roast veggies (eggplant) with pesto sauce

Dad’s order: Spicy Pork Naked Balls over rigatoni with spicy meat sauce

Ice Cream Sandwich with chocolate chip cookie and brown sugar ice cream
